TweetWe all love your pets, they make us smile at the end of a long day and are always incredibly loyal. No matter the size, they're our little ones. Yet, some of them are extremely hard to call 'little', most because they're actually incredibly huge! Let's check some of them out!
Giant George: A 43-Inch-Tall Dog
Giant George, a 43-inch-tall Great Dane from Arizona, held two world records: the tallest living dog and the tallest dog to ever live (until February 15, 2010). George has made appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show & Live with Regis & Kelly, he also developed a fan base and they could follow the dog's news via his website and YouTube channel. George also has a book, “Giant George: Life with the World’s Biggest Dog,” and a Twitter account.
Unfortunately, George passed away on October 17, 2013. He was eight years old.
Ulric: A 30-Pound Cat
Ulric the Norwegian Forest cat is twice as big as he should be and weighs 30 pounds. This cat was the heaviest finalist that the PDSA’s fitness competition. Ulric loves to eat. If he isn’t satisfied with his meal, he’ll just amble over to his sister Ulla’s bowl. The cat's owner tried to get him moving by putting him on a leash. It's not an easy task though so Ulric was put on a strict six-month diet and exercise regimen.
